About Me
I’m a former English teacher and current principal of Courtney Elementary School in Yadkin County, North Carolina. I received my B.A. and M.Ed. from High Point University in 2006 and 2015, respectively.
While I am interested in most educational theories, I am particularly interested in the work of Paulo Freire, Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, and Howard Gardner. My practical academic interests include differentiation, student engagement, and technology.
I enjoy gardening, reading, and writing when I'm not working.
